Sexuality and Gender Activism (SAGA) Appreciation Awards
These awards were established in 2007 to reward the efforts of individuals and groups at Bowling Green State University who work in the areas of gender and sexuality activism. In particular, we wish to award individuals and groups who strive for: feminism, gender equality and women’s liberation; LGBT rights, support and visibility; transgender/intersex liberation; choice, reproductive rights and health; safer sex and sexuality education. These awards are given to faculty, staff, undergraduates, graduate students, and community members who have selflessly advanced the causes of gender and sexuality and have advanced feminism, reproductive rights, LGBT liberation an sexuality education at BGSU. Individuals or campus/community groups are all eligible for a SAGA Appreciation Award.
